  Denise:

May God's angels continue to rest on your life as you boldly and so eloquently tell your story of redemption. You planted seeds of HOPE last weekend at our Girls@War Experience at the Soul Factory in Maryland. Thank you for laying down your life to inspire and bring about change to a stigma that plagues our community and as young African American woman and we call it AIDS. Thanks again and journey well!

  Hi Denise,
My sister has been telling me about you for soooo long that I had to take the time to "google" you myself today and boy oh boy.....what an inspiration you are! I too am HIV+/AIDS and both my parents have since died from it, but I'm still holding on and trying ever so hard to be strong....I just had open heart surgery in Nov./07 and almost didn't make it, but God said "she still has things to do", so here I am. I would really like for you to hit me back asap; I would love to tell you my story and see if in any way I too can become that "strong woman" that you are. Thanks for making my day. Peace and Blessings- Deedee

I want to thank you for your spoken word and for speaking at the Power Center today! I'm so glad that God blessed you with a voice that will bring a change in this world for alot of people. I tried to learn something from everything that I see and hear and from today I've learned that no matter what people may say about or to us we all are blessed with a gift that God gave to each of us when he breathed life into us and it is up to you to tap into that gift to share with the world and I'm so very happy you tapped into your gift!

I want to thank everyone who has signed my guestbook over the years. This is where I come for encouragement so I can keep fighting the good fight. The last two yearshave been very hard - and even as I type this, things are getting harder. My heatlh is fragile and my T-cells don't seem to have much fight left. A combination of the long fight, my recent health issues and the economy have me in a place I have not been for many years. It looks like I may have to let my home go and find someplace to live VERY cheap. It's hard but you guys know what? I am still blessed. I am still commited and I still pray everyday for the healing of those affected by this disease. Kepp me in your prayers as I do you. I sign off for the moment - but still - one foot in front of the other foot is all I know. Love and Hugs. Denise
